I enjoyed a nice ride through Lanaudière and the Mauricie yesterday…
From Berthierville to Saint-Barnabé, Charette, Saint-Paulin, Ste-Émilie-de-l’Énergie, Saint-Xénon and finally Saint-Michel-des-Saints.
Weather was perfect, and I enjoyed a nice diner at Saint-Michel-des-Saints’ Vieux Moulin à Scie.
Beautiful riding country!
In Saint-André-d’Argenteuil… Is that a Space-X outhouse?
No launch button, but lots of toilet paper!

On the recommendation of my hosts at Domaine Nature L&M, I’ll be back in September to catch the fall colors between Scottstown and Piopolis. I’ll publish my experiences then.
Pay less to sleep, keep more to enjoy your trip.
Don’t forget to check here before attempting transit to or from the South Shore…

It’s kitsch, it’s full of diabolical sugar treats but it’s a must stop for photo ops with all the crazy decorations there!

There are too many Tim Hortons in Chateauguay, but there’s one outsanding coffee shop: Aux Quatre Vents.
Chateauguay’s Brûlerie Aux Quatre Vents offers great quality coffees as well as sandwiches and salads, all at very reasonable prices.
As a plus, the wifi there is outstanding, there is a mellow feel to the place, with a mix of soft lounge and jazz playing. You’ll relax and enjoy the experience. Highly recommended.
